As well as the more common Djembes we offer a range of other African drum styles. Very popular with larger drum circles that wish to complete the full sound of an African rhythm section. Our Dundun and Bougaribou drums are expertly crafted by master craftsmen and sound amazing.

 Doumbecks
Komodo and Silver Dragon Doumbecks
are made from a fibreglass shell, light-weight
and durable. They feature top tuning lugs, hand
screened synthetic skin, rubber bottoms and an
ergonomic shape. Finished in silver or copper
these doumbecks look and sound great.

 Bougarabou Africa
Similar in construction to the Djembe but with a different goblet shape and natural cow hide skin, this traditional drum from the Jola people of Senegal often has a softer deeper tone. Beautifully handcrafted with a natural bark style finish.

 Bougarabou Tribal
This drum from the Jola people of Senegal is beautifully hand carved out of a single piece of sustainable hardwood with traditional tribal patterns and spirit elder faces. This drum has a rich warm and very loud tone.

Our large Dundun, medium Sangban and small Kenkeni are beautiful, double cow hide skinned drums that make up the bass section of an African percussion ensemble. Played with a drumstick and open hand these drums have a rich booming tone.
